A Moorish Experience: Andalucia/Costa del Sol 8 days / 7 nights


	Marvel at the beauty and diversity of Spain on this wonderful Moorish Experience. Explore captivating historical monuments, breathtaking architecture, glorious beaches, excellent markets, and exciting nightlife. Day 1 - Madrid/Mérida/Cordoba Early morning departure for Mérida, to visit the ancient Roman Theatre before journeying on to Cordoba. L-D Day 2 - Cordoba/Sevilla Cordoba was once one of the most important capitals in Europe and a sophisticated place where cultures mixed peacefully and harmoniously. Visit the captivating Mezquita, a Roman Catholic cathedral built inside a beautiful mosque, considered Spain’s most beautiful structure. Onward to colourful Sevilla where you will spend the afternoon at your leisure. Snack on delicious chocolate covered palmeras, or save room to sample an array of savoury tapas for dinner. B-L Day 3 - Sevilla Enjoy a morning city sightseeing tour. The afternoon is free to enjoy independently. Make sure to take advantage of Sevilla’s fantastic nightlife; take in a Flamenco show or dance the night away at one of the many lively clubs. B-L Day 4 - Sevilla/Ronda/Costa del Sol Depart on the Route of the White Villages to alluring Ronda nestled in the scenic white hills of Andalucia. Capture the Puente Nuevo, one of the most photographed structures in Spain, or stock up on some excellent local crafts at one of the wonderful markets. Later travel on to Costa del Sol for a free afternoon to bask in the sunshine. B-D Day 5 - Costa del Sol A welcomed respite from the urban areas, Costa del Sol has much to offer. Enjoy a full day at your leisure exploring the charming seaside villages. Or why not cross the strait of Gibraltar and head over to mystical Morocco for the day. B-D Day 6 - Costa del Sol/Granada Spend the morning soaking up a few more rays of glorious sunshine before continuing on to traditional Granada for dinner. B-D Day 7 - Granada This morning tour the breathtaking Alhambra, one of the most important monuments of Spain, which was once palace, citadel and fortress. The rest of your day is free to explore Granada’s many other other fascinating historical spots. B-D Day 8 - Granada/Toledo/Madrid After breakfast depart for imperial Toledo - the town setting is extraordinary, full of history and monuments. Enjoy lunch and a walking tour through the narrow streets and alleyways. Return to Madrid this afternoon. B-L
